Weapon Classes

Assault Rifles

Balanced damage and range. The default choice for most attackers — learn one rifle deeply before branching out.

SMGs

Very high fire rates, strongest up close. Defender staples for holding tight angles.

Shotguns

Devastating within meters and double as breaching tools for soft walls and hatches.

DMRs

Semi-automatic precision for long sightlines. Punishing if your aim is on, unforgiving if not.

LMGs

Huge magazines for suppression and pre-fire. Slow handling rewards pre-aimed positions.

Secondaries

Pistols and machine pistols — finish kills when the primary runs dry mid-fight.

Attachments & Recoil

Choosing Attachments

  • Muzzle brake: tames vertical kick on burst weapons.
  • Compensator: reduces horizontal drift on full-auto sprays.
  • Vertical grip: steadies sustained fire; angled grip: faster ADS.
  • 1.5x–2.0x sights suit most rifle engagements; 1x for SMG rushers.

Recoil Control Basics

  • Pull down smoothly as you fire — most R6 recoil climbs vertically.
  • Burst at long range; commit to sprays only up close.
  • Practice one weapon's pattern until correction is automatic.

Weapon FAQ

What is damage drop-off?

Damage decreases past a weapon's effective range. SMGs and shotguns fall off fast; rifles and DMRs hold damage farther.

Which weapon should a beginner learn first?

A low-recoil assault rifle. Master its spray pattern and one sight before experimenting with the arsenal.
